Note: 2-step pool ladders are not a common size. They are used mainly in special applications such as the shallow end of a children's wading pool or some some models of in-ground spas. They do not extend far enough into the pool to allow easy reach of the bottom rung in deep water. Please review the measurements so you do not accidentally order an unsuitable ladder for your application.

Most swimming pools use three-rung ladders. We carry two models of 3-step rung ladders for residential pools: The P-324-L3 which is the the industry standard, and our "Elite" model P-421-L3 . The "Elite" is a more attractive design, but it does not have a standard footprint and may not be suitable as a replacement into existing Anchor Sockets. Saftron Pool Ladders are made of 1/4" thick hard-shell composites that are unaffected by pool chemicals (chlorine, acid & salt) and reinforced internally by Schedule 40 Galvanized Steel that add strength and rigidity. As the reinforcing steel core is completely encapsulated, it does not come into contact with air or water so it is immune from rust or corrosion.

Hard-shell nonconductive material meets applicable USA codes in all states without the need for bonding (grounding), thus making it the pool ladder of choice for retrofit applications as pool decks do not have to be dug-up to install grounding cables.

Dimensions:

• Ladder is 44" High x 24" Wide.
• Width between ladder post centers is 19.5" (Suitable for installation in existing anchor sockets that are 19" to 20" apart and 17" back from the pool wall face)
• External diameter is the industry standard for swimming pool ladders (1.9" OD)
• Installed ladder height above the pool deck is 21" when installed directly into the deck or when installed into Anchor Sockets and 25" high when installed using SB-3 surface-mount bases.

Installation: 

Pool Ladders can be core-drilled & grouted permanently into pool deck or installed using ANCH-1 Anchor Sockets for removable installations. A simpler and less costly installation option is also possible with Saftron's exclusive surface mount bases (SB-3). Saftron's reusable alignment jig (P-JIG-L) can be used to facilitate installation of Anchor Sockets. Two bases or anchor sockets are required for each pool ladder.
