This fully reinforced version of the popular P-448-RTD pool rail of the same dimensions (which is only reinforced at the posts) will eventually replace the P-448-RTD. Longer return-to-deck pool rails like this one need extra rigidity to properly support high leverage side-loads. The continuous reinforcement of the RTD-448 pool rail makes it far superior to the P-448-RTD, and in our opinion well worth the slightly higher price. We strongly recommend this model instead of the P-448-RTD pol rail.

Saftron's Return-to-deck pool handrails are made of a 1/4" thick hard-shell composites that are unaffected by pool chemicals (chlorine, acid & salt). Internally Encapsulated Schedule-40 Galvanized Steel throughout the entire core of the rail results in a beautiful, rigid, durable swimming pool handrail.

Dimensions: 32" High x 48" Wide. Posts measure 8" between centers. External diameter of pool railing is the industry standard: 1.9" OD

Installation: Pool rails can be core-drilled & grouted permanently into the pool deck without additional hardware, or they can be installed using anchor sockets (ANCH-1) or surface mount bases (SB-F) which are sold separately for applications that require removable railings. Saftron's reusable alignment jig (P-JIG-RTD) can be used to facilitate installation of Anchor Sockets. Two bases or anchor sockets are required for each rail.
